  • T-rex 500 First Spin-up

Well, Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the first spin-up of my T-rex 500. I didn't really attempt to fly her, rather to get it such that she was light on the training gear.

I noticed a little vibration at low head speed but, on spinning up, it seemed to ease up.

Now all I need to do is get someone with much more experience than I to give her the "once-over", test fly her and then the ball is, as they say, in my court!

              Many thanks one and all.

And cotti, the training gear came from my garage, supplied my my nephew along with a vintage RC heli.

                    Hi Martin

I am just a few months ahead of you, training gear still on but managing to hover (most of the time) within a 5m circle. The 500 is a great machine - enjoy it.

Definatley there was somthing flying off as you powered up - was it your cat then running for its life. Now that is normal.
                            Well done anyhow.

May have been some leaves or stuff blowing around on the grass.

Will have to examine the vid again just to be sure, to be sure.
