  • Own Tranny with Realflight

Hi, i was looking to get Real flight G3.

I was wondering, would i be able to use my own transmitter as i would prefer to learn on the thing i will actually be flying with too.

    Does anyone know?

You could with G2,The handset included also had a buddy socket on the back to connect your own Tx so i think the answer is yes

I thought G3 came with the transmitter anyway,if it does not then it must have a lead for using your own

my friend has it, he says he could do me a copy for £10, but is there any point in buying it because i dont know if it is going to work. Do i have to have the realflight transmitter for it to work?

The software will copy easily however you will need the controller that comes with it to be able to use it,you wont find one of them very easy..

This is the manufacturers form of copy protection. Most sims come with a special lead that includes a dongle,a form of hardware protection.

Best bet would be to scan the BMFA for a used sim

picked up my production copy today.

its not perfect (no sim is or ever will be) but its pretty damn good.

I had a go on a pre production copy and it was as good as or better than Reflex xtr which i currently own.

I intend to purchase a copy soon
