  • F3C Flying Field - ESSEX

Anyone know of a filed in Essex that I can use to practice large F3C aeros?

I fly at CFMA but, I am limited with space to my right hand side due to other field users

Two tree island in Leigh on Sea. you could do large F3c style flying if you dont mind charing with planks.

just a thought, if you want to give it a go, contact me and come down as a guest for the day to try it out.
    All the best
    Tony.

That would be a fantastic Idea.

Dont think two tree is the best place to many plankers around, but one member did mention it to me, ill have a chat to him see if hes still keen on getting one setup

Tim also said to me about popping up your club one afternoon to have a fly, one day thats convinient
        All the best

I believe there's a club based in Braintree - think they call themselves hedgehoppers or something. Dunno what their field is like but wouldn't be a million miles away so could be worth investigating.

Yeah I had heard of them too, might be an option for weekend flying, bt after work might not be much fun with the traffic. Low membership limit as well iirc from when I was looking around.

Also found this club (not in essex but very close!) The AHA also use it for F3C comps.
