i dont believe i said "i dont believe it"

it was more like...

" &&^&%(*&^%((&^% &^*%&&^(**(&()@~@@~~@:}{:>>>@&^%&^%$^*&&^^%*^)*&(& ^&^%$(**(&^*&^^%&^*()(*&%(&^(*&*&^%(*&_)(&&^%&^%_( *~~@:~>?><>?}{}{:}_+_+}@>:L<@:<:<@:L*O%^%$?><{L@:" $^":$^<>@$"<^@£>$: "

Ade, I think your brain got stuck in a loop, I only heard one word repeated many times...

Thought I'd leave that bearing in there to give you a fright, you looked like you needed waking up ...

Nightlore, that was one awesome save, well done, gimme a shout when ur ready for your B test...

For those of you who are unfamiliar with what a dodgey bearing looks like:

Trev,

That bearing looks decidedly dodgy

It just shows how much of a close eye we should all keep on our models

Cheers,
Pete.

lol, they have been feeling a bit sloppy for a while, but it didn't give the impression that it was that bad, that was how it fell out, I didn't have to touch it . You can't actually see the bearings without a 20 minute disassembly...

Still, no one got hurt and a valuable lesson learned...

While Ade was flying that, a couple of us noticed the tail wagging around a bit which it didnt do before,a sign to get it on the ground i reckon..

If it starts acting dodgy in any slight way in flight, land it dont 3d it

yeh it was wagging, but it had a csm560 on it and i was pushing the model hard to find out where the 560 would give up. my knight does exactly the same thing in funnels if you push them too fast.

To be honest, the gyro was being a bit picky about the gain setting the day before (most likely due to the tail issue) so I didn't think it was an issue...I just thought I had the gain a bit high...

I'd only put this gyro on the day before due to my 601 going faulty so it was all new...

Futaba gyros dont go wrong do they

I would also have assumed it was the gyro with my experience of the CSM stuff..

I think it was a shock for us all and a nice bit of keeping a cool head by the pilot

Im glad shes in 1 piece still and flying well now

So am I, I legged it but Ade was brave and waited for control to come back, cheers Ade!

The Futaba gyro lost it's holding ability and just whipped round (after a few seconds of flight) even after a reset...I've ordered a 611 and a CSM 720, I'll stick with the one I like most...
