What a day !!

Well been tweaking my titan a bit so thought lovely day , get my ass to the field for a few hours .. Got there unpacked my stuff and had the first flight with my trusty twinjet .. Flew it around and then came the time for my Raptor .. I been tweaking some little bit and bobs and had 3 great flights from it .. Handles how i want it to and lots of power .. Took it round and the field like a man possessed lol... Well landed and thought another flight with the twinjet so thru it off and felt a thud on my finger .. took the plane vertical and had a quick look at my finger .. Well there was blood all over lol... Landed the jet and just wrapped my finger in some cloth i had ..Blood was all over the place .. So I packed up and rung the missus to tell her what I had done and dropped my stuff off at home before leaving for the hospital ... Got there and they asked to have a look at it .. Well It's not as bad as I thought it was as I just wrapped it and went to hospital without looking .. Gone right through my nail and half way through the top of my finger as well .. Got it sorted now .. Lesson to self ... dont put hand near props .. Actually .. Its the first time its happened to me as am very safe when launching flying my models ... I think the heli gods did not want me flying n e more today .. .Luckily I fly thumbs so should be out on Sunday hehe ....Just thought I would share with the forum what a day I have had lma o...

Yeh the finger is just numb .. Am left handed as well and its that hand that got hit lmao ... I did nto realise I had done it till i felt blood coming from it lol.. Am cursed with a high threshold for pain as well lmao ... Downside is am on immune suppressing drugs for my Crohns so am hoping all is well ...

I am the same with cutting myself and nor noticing.

I was fixing my car and I must have cut my arm on something underneath.
My girlfriend brought me a cup of tea and turned a bit white as I got out from under the car. I had blood all down my arm and my tshirt was ruined. I hadnt even noticed. I thought I had just scratched myself

Yeh at least its not dampened my enthusiasm lmao ..

Steve ... I was waiting for the other guy I fly with to turn up lol... It had top be a bloody plane tho lmao ... TBH .. When I fly on my own I am extra careful and make sure I fly further from myself than I normally do when others are with me .. I also got home number on speed dial on my mobile and the wife knows where I am as well .. Plus where we fly is a working farm so theres always someone up and down the back road leading to the field as well
