From what I saw at the weekend, the MA Furion gets my vote.

    Fantastic looking thing.

        Beam E4
        Well engineered
Well thought out layout and really easy to fix.
        Cheap crash costs
        Flys very well
REALLY exceptional support from Rob Blake at EVO RC

        Align 450 V3
Got a proper look at one the other night, but haven't seen it flying. The guy that bought it has already had a problem with the ESC which caused a crash
Clearly an improvement on the V2 but I understand that the servo layout which I though was going to be a copy of the Beam is actually not quite as easy to install and work on as it looks.
Finish didn't seem any better than my V2
Torque Tube will increase crash costs and is not necessary.
Going to be very popular because it's Align.
        Will fly well.

        Furion
Not looked closely at one, but I know that the Beam was the original Furion so many design features are the same.
Looking at the manual the Furion is much more complicated to fix.
Will be more expensive to crash but is definitely nice quality and seeing it fly at charmouth looks very nice in the right hands,

        The bigger 350 blades size

        Rave
        High quality feel
The best looking heli out there IMHO
Torque Tube which increases crash costs
Probably would be my first choice of 450 heli but a bit expensive to crash.
Flown Mattie Lodges Rave several times and absolutely love it.

        Outrage
Looks that you either love or hate.
        Very configurable head
Only flown Ashes G5 in the early days which had tail issues and felt a little underpowered to me. Ash told me he has subsequently resolved these issues and seeing him and Ade fly them it looks fine.
Everyone who I have spoken to says it flies well.

I appreciate I may be seen as biased to the Beam, but I fly what I want not what I am given as anyone who saw what I flew at Charmouth will realise.

        Hope that helps.

I flew both back to back on Tuesday, and i have to say is a close run thing.
Rave is better on the pitch, more stable in the air and has more power but not by much, cyclics are quicker but not as presise
450pro tracks better than the rave, tail is locked in better and still has more than enough power and with more presise cyclics and not much slower(both helis running stock paddles).
Cost will make the 450pro a winner, only 100 quid more than the rave but comes with everything minus batt and rx, the standard GP750/520 tail servo was the big surprise, tail was rock solid even with plastic tail blade.
Don't get me wrong, i am not selling my Rave for sure, love the thing.
But you have left one off your list, the Beam E4 is a superb little heli and matches the 450pro like for like though a bit heavier, the quality is superb, don't count it out, and costs wise competes nearly with the 450 pro.
Furion looks nice but just seems far to complex for a 450 heli and costs when crashed could be high.

The 450 Pro is not a V3. The V3 is a range of upgrades for the existing V2. This will include things like a TT/tail upgrades and a complete new head which will then make the V2 a V3. Apparantly Align will not release the V3 as a complete kit of any kind. Its purely upgrade parts for the V2. Clear as mud eh??!!!!

              Maybe BobJ can confirm this?

James - regarding the pitch on the 450pro, it may be well sorted after adjusting last night. Remember it was running +14% and -7% this was making it twitchy as hell on the collective.

We will see this evening after testing...... and yes you can run a pack through bro!! rude not to!!
