i have had a few lucky escapes with my raptor 30 turning my transmiter on starting the heli without not even turning the heli on

Did that this weekend, not a comfortable feeling. The fail safe position of the throttle is tickover so the engine didn't go crazy, in fact I didn't even realise that it was switched off until I went to do a control check. Learned a lesson there about rushing to the flying field with limited time on my hands.

Don't quit, though.

Waird, should not have happend -- ESC side of things

The Esky ESC on my Belt CP wont start the motor unless the throttle stick is down as the same with the trim,


what ESC are you using mate?

OK so i was flying this morning and i have just installed a upgrade motor and battery... little did i know the 3d switch was in the ON.. so i pulg the battery in a BOOM, i didnt feel anything untill i saw blood on the blades, then i saw that the top of my little finger has gone i ran back into the house with my jacket coveing my left hand luckly the hospital was 2 minutes away anyway after 2 hours im still in the Hospital the doctor said your lucky to not have your whole finger revomved. it hasn't reached the bone and most of the nail is still there, few stiches and 2 weeks of healing and you will be good as new!

My Heli has blood all over it also my Dad went Sick!!!!

im still in the hospital waiting for the nurse to stiche me up...
