The ultimate boys all heli day!!!

Well... today was one of the best all round days heli play i have had since getting into the game.

Moonmanflyer and i planned the day from dawn to dusk to include the following...

• Rebuild james ElyQ following Sundays whoopsie
• Rebuild Marks 600 Nsp following Sundays whoopsie!
• Finish setting up the 450pro ready for maiden

Go to the field!

• Test the ElyQ... perfect so James gives a spanking!
• Test the 600NSP nearly perfect escept maybe a dodgy govorner
• Maiden the 450pro. Awesome!! we both give it a spanking!
• James gives the Rave a thorough thrash!
• I give the Rex 500 two packs in anger (lovin this at the mo)
• Ashley (James son) does the Beam justice with two cracking flights

All together we used all available Lipos all flew very well and all helis set up and more importantly back home safe

A long day but the perfect combination of good company, rewarding spanner work and exciting flying!

For me.... it don't get better than that.

Thanks goes to James for much time getting my birds just right and a cracking lads day!

Very... very good indeed!

I wil be updating my thread on the subject tomorrow with further pics and my initial findings but its a cracker. Flies like a small 500... tracks really well... fast as hell but more predictable than i had imagined... tail rock solid straight out the box

Was an absolute superb day mate, and a very good reason to have a day off.
Fixing and setting up all the helis and then off flying
The elyq was back to it's best, and really enjoyed giving it a thrash today and remember how good such a cheep heli can be.
The Rave was back in A1 condition and flying superb, love it
My son Ashley was flying his beam around doing figure of eights, a few flips and some superb nose in hovering, he really is getting the hang of this heli flying now and he just wants to fly all the timewell done son, your a star.
Unfortunately my youngest Harry couldn't come due to a school thing.
The new 450 pro was superb, Mark made me do the first light just to check it out and tweek the heli as required, did a quick 30 second test, tweeked a couple of bits, flicked it into idle up and gave it a good thrash and i was very pleased how it performed, tracks better than the V2 and my rave, very similar feel to the beam but hangs slightly better, even the tail on the align 520 servo and plastic tail blades was 100% locked in and even on piro tail slides was superb, nice heli mate and is up there fighting for top 450 spot, had loads of power with the new motor and turned it up to near max and didn't bog at all.
Shame about the 600, must be a dodgy govener, strange but bar that was flying really well after the re-build.
Mark also let me have a play on the 500 ESP, that heli rocks and i forgot how good these are, better than mine was as the cyclics feel more locked in.
Hope you have stopped shaking mate, not sure if it was excitment or you letting me loose with your whole fleet.
Then to top it all off my father in law turns up with his plane and i had a go on that too
Was back to my best after the nervous flying at charmouth, more relaxed and with more room i felt so much better

No.... its all good, they are coming tomorrow as FL were closed on Monday due to Charmouth travel, so were sent out today

Guess tomorrow will be another tough day to swallow too!!
