...adieuk and scallybert.
In this thread: http://www.rcheliaddict.co.uk/f34/he...nection-21330/ I was despairing at an intermittent loss of connection with the DX7 / AR6100 combo on my GL450. After many suggestions for fixes adieuk offered to post me a brand new Align TREX 450 motor and esc to help with the diagnosis. This was way above and beyond the call of duty. Scallybert correctly diagnosed a static discharge problem from the tail rotor drive belt and suggested a number of fixes: the WD40 fix proved the root of the problem but only provided temporary relief. This was outstanding diagnosis and helpfulness. Finally adieuk came up with the, frankly genius, suggestion of using Mr Sheen on the belt to counter the static build up.
Both of these gents have helped me resolve a really niggly problem (at zero cost) that could, in worst case, have resulted in a crash and at the very least was preventing me from actually fying the model the way I wanted to. Therefore, I undertake to buy both of these blokes a pint should I ever bump in to them face to face.
The awarding of a Cyber Pint in no way competes with an Eddie Gold Star (heaven forgive me if it did) and recipients are entitled to use the following logo or a similar one of their choosing in their signature blocks:

Nice one lads, I owe you one!
