Carnage Day

Had a day at the field today, and oh what a day it was.
I came home with all helis in tact, which was lucky, as just as I was landing, the tail started to let go, fortunately I was about two feet off the ground, so a quick decent and all was OK.
The crash tally when I left the site was
One Raptor 50SE total write off, it even broke the whole head, main shaft assembly clean out of the frame
Six planes, ranging from light undercarriage damage to a broken fuselage
I was happy to load a full set of models back in the van and travel home.
Hope to get my Titan 50 done for next weekend.

I put the rappy straight back in the van after the tail problem, and carried on with the electrics;, but yes, a little luck with me for once.

I was plank flying today and had a mid-air doing formation knife edge with a mate It was all going well until we just drifted into each other. I got off very lightly with just a broken wheel, but his Edge 540 was a right off after it crashed.

Seemed like a good idea at the time....

It wasn't me either, 5 tanks through the 600 today and it returned in one piece, just as well as the expenditure on heli's is nearing divorce proportions. The wife was a less than impressed when I bought my son a 2nd hand 600 Nitro Pro during the week on top of the Spectra G I'm awaiting delivery of, so to return home with no repairs necessary was a bonus!

Put the Raptor in after the ground rose up to meet it

Total pilot error I'm afraid.

Mind you, I maidened the Airskipper and ran three tanks through to run in the Redline.

Happy man on the whole.

Unbelievably tough these Raptors. The Quick UK under carriage broke in two but the frames are totally intact.
