i have a set of torsion 600's from when they first came out.... and although they have come down alot in price, i will not be buying anymore. they fly great but the build quality is definately less than top notch. the leading edges of my set are not even straight!! and the bolt hole is beginning to open up now as well even with the blades tightened to "auto practise" tightness. Shame, i really like them but will be buying Radix SB's from here on i think.

The new Torsion blades are much better than the originals.
No issues with mine or any of those used on fellow club pilots helis.

I bought a pair of the new 600mm Torsion blades after reading positive reports and fitted then to my Trex 600. Unfortunately they go in and out of track when in idle-up 2 with a headspeed around 2000rpm. Since buying them I've replaced the dampers & tube in the head plus the thrust races in the plastic blade grips, the radial bearings are okay, as were the thrust races but I replaced them anyway. After all this they are still the same
A friend has tried them in his Scedeau and they were fine but he doesn't run as high a headspeed, the Maniac blades still track just fine, as they did before replacing head components.
To be honest I prefer the Maniac blades anyway, the Torsions are okay but auto performance is poor and not being a heavy duty stickbanger I find the Maniacs generally suit my flying style.Steve H

I'll have a look-see at the bearings in the mixing arms then, my 600 is the Sport version with few upgrades and none in the head area so I'd guess it's a bit sloppy by now.Steve H
