  • Multimeter - any recommendations?

    Hi Guys

I wanna buy myself a multimeter just to check all my wiring, voltages and stuff out on the 500.

I don't wanna spend a fortune (£20 or so?) and wondered if you guys had any recommendations as to which one to buy?

    Cheers

Just buy anything, don't worry about it. They are all pretty cheap and do the same job. The more you pay the more functions and precision they have.

For just checking wiring, voltages (i.e. battery state etc) you can't beat a £3 CPC or maplin job. That way, whilst it's not a super spec multimeter, it does all you need at the field and you don't mind too much if you damage it, spill fuel on it etc. You can even afford to have two - one in the workshop (maybe buy a re more expensive one) and one for the flight box.

On a scale of 0 to 3D, about 1.53 and counting (backwards at the moment...). Getting there though, 0.1D at a time!
