  • Brill day, hope you all had the same

Been out today with the kids and Mark Lane.
Had a superb afternoons flying, I am in love with my 700 again with it's sweet running os91(the new version) got it set up spot on now and it is consistant all the way through the tank, was giving it some beans and with the radix blades on also is now a superb machine.
I would like to say well done to my lad Ashley.
Did some excellent flying today with some nearly full circuits on his 600 and a few flips thrown in for good measure, side on hovering, just needs to crack nose in, and flew his beam brilliant, well down son He is also picking up the starting and check processes well also, would like to think he could get his A cert by the end of the summer.
Well done to Mark also, he has been stuck in hospital all week but flew really well and starting to really throw the 500 and 600 around now, tweeked his 600 and flys really nice now

    Great afternoons flying indeed.

James... you are flying off the wall now mate and all the moves you have practiced are now looking fluid and very, very tidy.

Ashley is something else for ten years old!! nice to see the learning curve including start up discipline and ground handling of the machines. All important stuff in making a good all round pilot!... well done mate.

My flying is coming on. I feel held back with nerves which is a pain, i have the moves in mind after lots of sim work and am keen to push myself to perform in real time but my bloody fingers are shaking which is holding me back. Guess i need lots more stick time to settle in to things. Saying that i flipped the lid on my 600 for the first time today for a neat and controlled inverted hover..... felt great!!. The 500 inspires more confidence but it was a little blowey today to really push it.

Great day though and thanks to Moonmanflyer for sorting the 600NSP. It was flying like a gag of nails untill James re worked the set up... cheers mate.

I'm gonna order a load of fuel and just get out there at any oppertunity to shake off the heeby jeebies!! then i reckon i will be truely off!!

Cheers Dude, did some of my best flying with the 700 today, i was really happy to put 3 hurricanes into one manover and at a constant height and speed
Think we could still increase the pitch on your 600 mate, is a bit tame, were you getting worried by me giving it a thrash

i had a cracking day for my standards flew my 450 and 500 today, nearly doing stall turns and the 500 is a dream to fly lovely and smooth

weather was lovely and the sun shone all day, apart from one snag forgot to charge 1 off my 450 batterys from its last outing and it was flat as a pancake stuck it on my 10s and it 5% fuel in it now back to full charge,

must invest in a bigger PSU its going to take all night to charge my batterys
If You Cant Dazzle' Em With Brilliance, Baffle' Em With emmmm you know the rest

Not at all mate... rely on you to fly her to get a feel for the set up. As i only fly the one nitro i can't tell if its running right or not really!

Having the 500 helps though as now i can tell that the 600 lacked punch and was bogging where as the 500 is like a rocket!!

i will get you to talk me through the pitch settings and we can add some more. I'm ready for a maxed out machine. I want it to bounce!!!!!

                    Thanks Guys...

Eight days in Jail and i have seen and heard things i will never forget!!!

Joking aside... i received good care and was glad to be there especially at the beggining where i was very pourly.

Turns out i have Glandular fever. a pain as it may rear its head again but could have been worse as meningitis or worse was suspected feeling better now if a little tired!!

Got at least a week off leading up to Charmouth so weather permitting i will put in some stick time so as not to completely embarase myself next weekend if i fly!!!!
