Hi Derrick, Kinda depends what the weather's doing. If it's okay and the wind is down a bit I'll be hoping to go. I don't think there's many of us on the forums though, apart from Asfalloth and me....

I'm a member - but it seems the location of the flying field is a closely guarded secret. Closely guarded from me, at any rate...

Hi Scally, it's a little bit hard to find especially if you aren't familiar with Chingford.

I can sort of guide you in from the Station, where the buses stop:

coming out of the bus stand, turn right and cross over, as you come past the Golf club on your left there's a lane that goes off, turn up there, you can see the Golf course on your left still. Passing that there's a car park on your right, next to the club restaurant. Keep going and you will see another bigger car park with 2 entrances, go in the second entrance, and you will see a gate in front of you. Go through that, so that you are now crossing Chingford Plains, then keep going up that dirt track, if it's a good day somebody will likely be flying..... You will turn off the dirt track slightly to the right, follow that and you'll see the runway cut out of the grass, it looks like a typical grass strip with 2 runways, but one side is actually the pit area and opposite is the hovering space for learners etc.
