I did that on my Trex 600 once after fitting new blades. I really wouldn't recommend it. It looked like it was having an epileptic fit. The vibration was that bad it snapped my heading tank bracket in half. Was not a pretty site.

if the blades are acting against each other would it dampen the response to cyclic inputs and just make the heli feel abit softer, hance easier to fly ??

just a thought, must have sounded wierd though..

I did this with my 600N Pro once. Could not work out for the life of me why the heli was shooting up and down all the time. Ended up packing up and going home. Had to change a few bearings too due to the vibrations

Mojo, for heavens sake remove those training legs from your Skids, if you can fly that good there well past there usefulness.

Plus your bird will fly ten times better.

As for your vid' well done bud, you may have stumbled on something quite big here performance wise!

I did that with both blades on an old Zoom Heli I had few years ago, same thing how did it fly but it did & didn't notice untill couple weeks latter with a few flights in between.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

Poor Mojo being compared with my gaffs

Took your advice Cambs and removed the trainer u/c, refitted the blade correctly, and had another go. I reckon it felt more stable with the blade fitted wrong because the head speed was lower and it sounded more like the FPs I'm moving up from.
