yep out tomorrow at 10am,up the field try to keep away from the ground until i want to land.should be good mild wind around 9mph not bad.

I've been flying my first figure-8 circuits with my CX3 in the flat, where the room is about 14' square, and I managed not to hit the walls! I've also done my first flight through an open doorway, down the hall and in to the bedroom...

Oh yeah, and first landing on a 10" landing pad 2" off the floor to practice very fine positioning...

Thinking about it, that's lots of firsts today!

i tried some gardening today
i did well i planted a raptor 60

Too windy for me to try anything new.
Been doing slappers on the Sim and was hoping to try them out for real.
Maybe tomorrow.

I dont want to learn anything new,i am happy doing what i do and have no wish to commit more time to learn any extra.

Cheers Tim,the trouble i have is as much as i would like to make steady progress,i dont have the desire to do simwork etc in the week which ultimately limits my sticktime.

And when i do go to the field i end up chatting more instead of flying and where i keep changing models the flying time is spent accustomising myself to the model or the model to me LOL...

Either way,still enjoy it though..

Oh dear. Much damage?

front frames/fan housing (i have a spare off my 60/90 conversion i did)
head links, mainshaft,feathering spindle, flybar, blades, boom (i had a spare with the heli and the pink boom had to go anyway), torque tube, tail gears, tail blades,fins and skids

luckly the only bits i need to buy are
flybar,head link set,fins and the torque tube
all the rest i have spare from my 60/90 conversion and my md500
for the mess it looks it isn't that bad
