Friday the 13th strikes again

Well completely stripped the engine now, needs a piston, ring and also the rear bearing, it is totally seized, they are little marks here and there on the casing but noting major so should all be ok but getting on to over £100 of damage, doh., new piston turning up on monday, just hope the hobby hanger have a bearing also because i didn't know i needed one until tonight.
Be glad to get it back together.
Had another bit of bad luck today
Went to test hover the Vison 50 and the clutch hub came loose and knocked a tooth off the main gear so won't fly now until next weekend.
Anyway no flying tomorrow as it is my dads birthday so will give me a weeke to get everything runnig right again

lets hope thats the end of your run of bad luck James. Im sure the main gear is the same as a raptor, does your local place not have one of those?

Think it is bigger jamie, but have ordered one up now anyway, won't be able to fly until next friday now so in no major rush, and cheers.
