Looks a bit weak to me. Very small motor.
I use a JP starter (think it was £19.99) running off 2 old (read knackered) 1800 4s lipos in parallel, that were used to death in my 450. Has no trouble starting a 90.
I bought something very similar a few years back - total and utter waste of money.
Struggled to start a 30, wouldn't turn over a 50!
They may have improved, and the motor may be much stronger now??

It's interesting that you have connected the batteries in parallel when everyone seems to connect them in series. My thinking was that the more current available the more torque you have. Connecting in series only gives increase in voltage hence speed with the same current available. Question, whats best

Some starters don't like too many volts "up em".
Paralleling the packs gives him more capacity (starts) while still being around 14 volts (on 4S) for good power.
If you connect 2 batteries in parallel you are doubling the available current, and if you connect them in series you are doubling the voltage. Thats assuming they batteries are the same spec of course.
I have a rotostart which I use with my .15 car and it works well but would not have enough torque to start a .30 heli or anything larger. They were designed to start small car glow engines, no idea why they think they are up to starting larger engines. My 50 Hyper would laugh at the sight of that!

Series would be when battries are connected end to end, while parallel is when the positive terminals are connected together and the negative terminals are connected together, hope that makes sense.
