  • Belt CP First Flight Without Training Gear!!

    Well,

after the last autorotation i did, and it broke the training gear, i decided i would fly without it.

then i stuck a crap head upgrade on, so i then reverted back to the orginal, made some final adjustments and then set off to the park today,

it was more of an experimental flight more then concentrating on hovering/circuites, so that i could get used to the feeling of not using training gear,

The gain was high and the tail wagged like mad, but since i forgot to bring my screwdriver i flew with it.

again.. the gorilla flypaddls bring great stablity and smoothness to the controls really impressed with it.

here is the video; (starts with it being tilted sideways) Camera shy i am :P:P

lol, joking aside looking good if you can fly when your heli is a pile of crap then once its silky smooth you will be a well confident pilot !

                  Well done Callum

Taking the training gear off is scary to start with, but they fly SO much better without - you'll come on really quickly now...

Best advice I had when i removed my TG was to hover stationary an inch or two above the ground before landing - haven't decked it since taking the gear off (except for one mechanical failure!) - had a close call yesterday in a strong crosswind though!

                      Very nicely done young sir!

People outside the RC Heli community haven't a clue to the commitment needed to reach the level you are now, but we do, congrats on a job well done.

Now sort that gain wag before your next vid'.
