  • My 1st Raptor Crash

    Guys,

Had my 1st real crunch with the Raptor on Sunday on the last flight....

Been running the OS 37 in and had it nice and rich a bit to rich I recon
but anyway been doing side hovering, noseing in, flying around and enjoying
flying basically. Even doing small autos from about 2-3ft.
I have to say that 37 does suck fuel quick!

Anyway last flight did a loop engine cut on the bottom 1/4 part of the loop!
Tryed to save my heli... went in hard BUT went in on the skids and the right
way up. There was not enough left in my blades to save it. Boom,Main shaft,
feathering spindle, Boom and the on/off switch smashed! under carriage
smashed to bits. Main frame one side at the back but I think a piece of carbon and 2 bolts will fix the mainframe as where it went is not a main
load area. Otherwise mainframe as well

Engine is okay and I can turn it over by hand still tight. Not sure why
it cut I think it was to rich...
