Robbe have seen the light. There is a rumour this version is for the European market only and will not make its way to America.

Fully expanded ten-channel computer system of superior quality, with 2.4 GHz FASST technology.

The FASST system is a Spread Spectrum system with Frequency Hopping (FHSS). It is therefore permitted to transmit a maximum power of 100 mW EIRP. This gives it adequate reserves even for large-scale model aircraft and jets.
No crystals, no spot frequency selection, maximum security from same-channel interference.
Virtually interference-free due to Spread Spectrum modulation, frequency hopping and encoding from transmitter to receiver using more than 130 million codes.
Focal point of the transmitter is the large, high resolution 160 x 72 Dot graphic display with extra large dots for easy reading, which is used for entering and displaying all settings. The system is very straightforward to program in conjunction with 4 control keys, the 3D Hotkey and the graphically based user interface.
New precision stick units with digiutal trims and adjustable travel. Makes a re-trim or trim memory with model memory change unnecessary. The trim values are displayed on-screen in bar graph form.
The side-mounted rotary controls provide a practical means of controlling auxiliary functions without letting go of the sticks.
The transmitter is supplied fully expanded, with one analogue rotary control and six switches, and requires no additional accessories. The switches and other transmitter controls can be assigned to virtually any function.
Includes logical switched function for switches and sticks.
Comprehensive software provides all the essential facilities even for power models, gliders and helicopters with extensive functions.
Plenty of freely programmable mixers are available with up to 5-point curves for setting up very complex mixer functions.
The transmitter can also operate in FM or PCM transmission mode; the FM-TW RF module is required for this. It is then compatible with all current FM and PCM-1024 receivers in the robbe/Futaba range.
In FASST 2.4 GHz mode the system offers a total of ten channels (eight proportional, two switched channels).
The software is available in six languages: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch.
Integral H3 (1:1:1) swashplate mixer for CCPM rotor head control (140°), plus H4X for 45° swashplate rotation.
Integral Trainer system with individual function transfer.
The stick units are designed for Universal mode, and can be converted by the user from "throttle right" to "throttle left".
Fifteen internal model memories, with infinite expansion using CAMPac modules.
    OptionalFunctions
Model select, fifteen internal model memories, can be expanded by up to sixteen models per 64k CAMPac module

I have sent them a mail to ask but it certainly looks to have only one aerial coming out of the top of the case and not the module.
Did you find the page on their website?
They have taken the picture with the tx turned unlike the original Futaba one straight on.

Found the picture yes that why I asked. Wondere what sort of price it will be and what it will feel like compared to DX7. Any idea if the Gimbals are fully ball raced? Thats the only snag with DX7 having to do that lol.

I'm well interested by this, have been eagerly awaiting a mid/high end integrated-2.4 Futaba set since the 6EX 2.4 first came out (which totally transformed my 450SEV2 to be lockout-free).

Apparently they've added a Swashplate Ring mixer feature to the 10CG that I believe the 10CAP doesn't have. And more imporantly the aerial comes out the aerial hole

Hopefully a fully integrated 2.4GHz 12FG is on the cards too. Still, my trusty FF7 2.4GHz does the job for now.

You can see in the pic the aerial is coming out the top and no mention of PCM on the screen surround:

Futaba has no mention of this on their website?
Maybe Robbe are just converting some for europe? so may get some here?
but thinking its a normal 10c with just an antenna mod, as you can see it says:
The transmitter can also operate in FM or PCM transmission mode; the FM-TW RF module is required for this. It is then compatible with all current FM and PCM-1024 receivers in the robbe/Futaba range

the mod can be done for a few quid if that what you want?

As mentioned in a different forum that's probably just a cut-n-paste error. This is a new model with no legacy 35MHz support at all.

So it's not just Robbe doing an aerial mod - it has new software -- this will remove redundant module settings in the menus, and it also adds a Swash Ring Mixer by the look of it.

I guess they realised this is a great feature for helis and previously you had to get a 12FG to get that so they must have decided to add it to their mid-range set. I'd like to see them change from Campak to SD though too, and ideally BE THE FIRST TO FIX THE STRAP HOOK POSITION to fix the CoG issues

Looks like good set. I'd like to see the manual to see if there are any other software changes.

Also, I assume it supports both FASST 7ch and FASST Multi-Mode (for 8ch and above)? I'm guessing it does as it mentions fail-safe on 8 channels which I believe is only available in Multi-Mode. This would also imply it supports 2048 resolution on 8ch and above.

If Futaba/Ripmax can sort the price out, especially given the poor exchange rate, they could bury the significantly more expensive integrated offerings from JR. I look forward to Ripmax's press release...

EDIT: Doh! It comes with an R608FS, so it obviously supports FASST Multi-Mode.
