Hi everyone,

you ever been in this situation?

i'm in the middle of converting my t-rex 600 to 8S, and i can't do anything now as i have NO money to spend on battery packs for the thing. So i gotta wait so long for the money, as i get £50 a month. So i can't fly for at least 4 Months. DAMN!

Just because he is sponsored does not mean they get n e thing for free lol... Its only the big factory pilots that get supplied with free stuff .. Most of the others have to still pay for stuff .. yeh maybe at cost but they still have to pay ... So its not all whack it in and get another for free lmao ... They have to provide for the hobby like most of us do ...

I have a mate that stunt rides motorcycles for a living and he is sposored by Avon and they send him a truck load of fresh rubber every month for free as he always finishes with a burnout that blows the tyre

no it doesn't, Really sponsorship is for having a company or someone to support you.

Not getting everything for free, you have to have won many competitions and be willing to travel the world to get stuff free!

Perhaps you should have considered your financial circumstances before starting out on this conversion, just a thought?

So either sell Heli 2 to finance the upgrade of Heli 1, or just fly Heli 2 until you can afford the upgrade?

Lol martin.... i've never crashed a car in my life...
and if i had an enzo i wouldn't drive it much , i'd just have it in a purpose built room on the house so i could crawl over it, hug it and drool

Although the generosity of this forum is without doubt as has been seen in a few recent threads, we are not about to start dishing out freebies to everyone. Especially those that are sponsored and have other helis to fly.
As has been said already a bit of planning and forethought would have brought you to this conclusion before you started the build on your new project.
I understand you are not directly asking for help here but the tone certainly implies it.

It's only like when someone posts that they crashed or when building ... This forum is for sharing information and passing on each others day to day lives ....He has not asked for anything so in my view is just sharing his day to day life with us .. Some of the other posts have not been asking for stuff as they have crashed and we as a community have ralleid around to help.. Yeh there has been some instances where you can see people asking for stuff for nothing .. It's just the chitty world we live in am afraid .. But you can see these people a mile off ..
