he's even using his old RCHA user name (the 1st one).
i was in a few weeks ago and he instantly started whining about being banned from here and that he was sorry...blah blah yadda yadda.

Andy, i hope the judge takes him to the cleaners and you get all your money back, the police need to be harder on people like this, they just seem to be able to get away with scams with no real concequence, so will always be a problem

Thought it was a little strange when he refunded my paypal payment and asked me to send it to his partner's account. Give him his dues, he personally delivered the kit to me, but it was only because he was down my way visiting family, or so he said.

Unless Steve could prove that money from his wifes account for the transaction actually credited the business account - then this would be theft. NOT on your part but Steve's. - Somehow I doubt it would have.

It is indeed Steve Coombes who used to use this site as raptormadsteve. He lives (or did 18 months ago) in Ilford, Essex and I believe his wife's name is Lisa. I don't think or believe his Mrs was anything to do with the EvoRC problems, but the significant thing about here is that he has recently used her email account to contact site users, so if you get an correspondence that looks like it's from Lisa Coombes, then beware.
