  • Cost Cutting ?

    Hi.,
I am thinking of buying a Raptor 30/50 or similar. In the interest of Cost Cutting I am considering either a used airframe and new electrics or used electrics and new airframe, I already have a Tx. Which way is best ? I appreciate all new is really the best but needs must.

I'd say 2nd hand airframe... new electrics.
theres too much that can go wrong with the electrics that you can't inspect by eye.

I'd agree with Alan. If I had to do it that's the way I'd go anyway

new electrics as you can re-use them for later models so the money isn't wasted.

If you buy used airfarme and electrics try to see it flown beofre you commit.
With a used airframe from someone you don't know factor in the price of new shafts and a few new bearings (never crashed never means never crashed).

Dont spend more flying models than it costs to fly for real
