    When you fly do you use "finger and thumb" or "just thumb" on your sticks?

    I always try to fly "finger and thumb" for extra control because that's the way i was told to but think it is restrictive.

      thumbs, i think its because i had rc cars (little eletric ones) and the tx was small. So when i got my first plane i was told to use fingers and thumbs, but i didnt

        yep the pinch method for me too.(thumb + Index finger)..
        BUT neither is better or preferable. (just look at Lucas Riva.... he flys thumbs with the pitch reversed )
        fly the way you are comfortable.

            Fingers and thumbs this way. I find the control is more precise.

                i use thumbs when flying but practise fingers/thumbs when on sim ,and i still stuff it in!!!

                  But its all about personnel preference to be honest, i have seen some great pilots that use thumbs.
