its only 3 servos and there is spare gears for them and other parts that are not listed, i just wanted an opinion on the heli and stuff it came with but ive bought it now for £150 all in minus TX, which aint a prob as i got my own radio gear, all in all i dont think its bad for £150 i could of done worse, plus the amount id of spent in blades is more than 3 servos lol

Seems like a good amount of spares in the pic so maybe ok but be prepared to strip and rebuild it as it has been crashed, see the post re 500 for sale.
        Good luck

hi nik after a crash that has done in three servos i would say that you would need to give everything a good check unless he put some servos in and spooled it up he wouldn't know the full extent of any damage but it looks like you are pretty well covered with the spares ,not a bad price realy good luck with it mate.

He said that after the accident he has replaced everything but the servo's, i'm gonna strip it down and make sure there are no obvious cracks dents or twists in the frame then check every piece as i put it back together, if im not busy im gonna hijack my eflite stockist for 3 servo's tomoz

TBH .. I would not have even bothered to buy it .....Should have took the plunge and bought one off of here that would have been upto flying right away .. Now you gotta strip this down to the main frames and check everything over .. And I bet you have to raplace more than is with the spares that come with it .. Y has he not repaired it and sold it on.... fixed ... this is the question I would be asking myself .. but thats just me ... Good luck with it Nik and have fun ....

i did wanna buy one from here but the only one available wouldnt take paypal, he said if its not up to scratch i could send it back and get a full refund so thats not all bad and as its ebay he wont get his money until i give him good feedback or 21 days have passed which gives me enough time to get it looked at, funny thing is though after i had bought this one, i came home from work to find an email from someone telling me their 'bird' was for sale rtf

thats typical just like buses none turn for ages and then they all turn up at once
but that said this is a good opportunity to learn the ins and outs of your heli so when you have a prang you'll have a better idea what to look out for.

I have to say, yes you got a great deal, but it astounds me the number of people who go out and buy a heli and the worlds supply of spares, only to sell it all so quickly!!! I really think people see themselves off with the 2nd hand model industry, helicopters are not cheap, neither are the little bts and pieces that are required to keep them in the air, yet people persist in buying as much stuff as possible, then selling it off at half the price!! Personally, I only buy spares when I need them, and always try to keep my outgoings as low as possible!
Sorry for the rant, had a few drinky poos tonight!! But every time I see an ad on the BMFA site, or on Ebay I just wonder why??? Especially with new models like the Beam or Trex 700!! They appear so often on these sites at literally half the cost!! What do these people think of when they buy them in the first place???
