I'm using an Align DS520 servo with a 401 gyro on the tail of my Beam and it works very well, holds as well as the 770/8900g on my 600N.

Everyone that has seen and flown my Beam has been impressed, it's a top notch kit at a very good price and flys very well indeed, you won't go wrong with it.

No nothing really. Goes together easily.
Just remember to cover the wires in a protective shield (spiral wrap or similar) when routing them round the heli as the carbon frames can chafe, and eventually cut through the wires. Leave a little slack too so they are not too taut. Helis do flex a little and if the wires are tight you can pull the wires out of their soldered joints.
