Nice pics tho, all of them. The D40x used for some of Matt's pics is a good camera. I can't pull the EXIF data from youngdave's but again, cracking shot.

Digital cameras save JPEG (.jpg) files with EXIF (Exchangeable Image File) data. Camera settings and scene information are recorded by the camera into the image file.
Now for some technical mumbo jumbo. By using a larger apeture on the lens decreases the depth of focus. If you get it right as Kevin has done on this occasion things just a few feet in front of the subject and a few feet behind the subject are out of focus.
Thanks for the compliments on the photo, its was one of those right place right time, and of course right camera, I used a Nikon D80 if any one is interested
