  • dx6i problem and 401 problem

    i have a dx6i with my raptor 30 i turn on the tranny then the heli and some times the controller will not bind so switch every thing of and back on again and some times it binds and some times not wot is the eror?

    i have a 401 gyro turn every thing on tranny first then heli and sometimes the gyro light continues flashing to say it has not set to head and hold turn off n back on sometimes is solid sometimes is not
    what could be my problem here?

    Try re binding the transmitter and receiver.

        Well, it did on mine. The gyro would not go solid led for hh mode, sometimes it did, but not always. Re bound, and its all good now mate.

          Gyro has to be in HH when you turn on the Heli

            try moving your tranny away at least 1mtr before turning on the heli . a good tip from cambs flyer it worked with my 450.

                how do i know if in h mode some 1 set it up 4 me so dont now?

                  the light will be solid on the top of the gyro if its in heading hold. It will be off for normal rate mode. Use whichever channel switch you have the gain lead plugged in to change between the 2. If its not booting into a solid red light on the gyro then reverse the gyro gain channel. Rebind the TX and RX. When it binds make sure ya remove the bind plug live before you cycle the power. It can make a diffrence. Alot of people make the mistake of turning the power of after it has binded and then take the plug out before powering back up.

                    i had a problem where if the battery connector sparked then the heli would not arm. managed to get round this by touching the negative first as this minimises load through heli.
