Just a post to give Stuart a quick Thankyou for coming up here and showing us how these things are meant to be flown Unfortunately the day ended up with him crashing but hell id be crashing all the time if i could fly like that. Only had my phone with me to grab a few quick vids but links (and pics of the almighty hole in the ground ) will follow. The quality of the videos arnt really good enough to put in the videos section but i'll add them regardless. Stuarts second and third flights were to music and i love the idea of sticking and pair of earphones in and just going for it. I could instantly tell it made him fly better Think ill try it myself at some point. Stuart was flying the Trex 600 NSP today and it flew very well.
Cheers mate and hope to fly again real soon. Ill come down your neck of the woods.

Cheers for having me pop over at short notice - made a change from flying from the normal field. Certainly smaller area to work with and the wind was a pain at the beginning. Off to break the thumb now that mis-behaved and went the wrong way - homer moment for sure....

I must confess my flying has a way to go yet, but flying with some background music makes me personally feel more at ease and less tense especially when I haven't flown for over two weeks.

Excellent flying Stuart in so much wind, sorry it ended in a crash mate. I would worry I'm gonna miss hearing any problems with the heli if I listen to music though.

Its only a little background music I can still hear the engine, but for some reason it just settle's things down and even though a bit cold the wind died off towards the end and was really enjoying myself then took a wrong turn at about 2 foot off the ground and that was it game over.

Will be working on the heli later if I can get the rug rat's off to bed early. Was debating a full kit to replace but on reflection when me and lee took the canopy off all the servo's are working fine, just the usual stuff, but I already have the feather / flybar and Main Mast as spares so its down to leg's, boom, canopy, mixing arms, tail pushrod, main blades, tail vertical fin, maybe rx batt yet to check it for puffing didn't see any but will be checking it again, plus possible main thrust bearings and tail output shaft. Put a nice little dent in my brand new MP5 Stick Banger but it's still in working order. Once fully stripped I'll have a clearer picture of any other bit's...
