    Spektrum Prices are on the UP! - Sorry!

    Just been notified today from Horizon Hobby that any new stock is going UP

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news....

    a DX7 4servo set - RRP now £324.99
    a DX6i - RRP now £144.99

    There are other things but this will give you a heads up, will do what we can on our prices

    I'd look round asap for old stock - I aint any...

          Ouch! again, glad I bought mine already. Any news on the RX? are they jumping up in price also?

              rrp is £925 for the tx/rx according to macgregors site. man the world has gone mad and would need to be smoking crack to pay these prices. more people will turn to the 10c now and dx7/ff7 respectively.

                The Price Increase Is Frightening....Wonder How Long Before The Fuel Goes Up...

                i can see this is really going to ruin the hobby for a lot of people, including me if these increases keeps on happening,it could possibly make a big hole in the R/C model world, and a lot of the model shops going, because we wont be able to afford the hobby. also have noticed the price of diesal and petrol is also creaping back up at the garages

                  In the last few months there's been a barrage of kit being sold second hand, I've often thought if the credit crunch has already hit this hobby big time?

                    Must admit I’ve been following all the price hikes quite closely over the last few months and that's not just Spektrum. One of the reasons for my recent purchases of the Beam, DX7 and a Spartan DS760.

                    I suppose this is where the Phoenix Sim plays an even more important part in our hobby, especially before we try any new moves or polish up the ones we already know!

                    I'm sure we'll still have fun if we stick together……and help each other out as and when we can….
