First Night Flights - What a Blast

Fitted out my TREX 450seV2 with the night flying gear today and have just been out for a few flights, what a giggle. Have always wanted to give it a go and can thoroughly recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it. Managed a few flips, got the heart rate going but was amazed at how well the heli stood out.

Have a 1m orange string on the canopy and a 1.5m green on the tail, used the blades sold by Blink Helicopters http://www.blinktrading-online.co.uk...des-p-253.html and they seem very good so far.

well well well hope i can 1 day as i am only just learning roughly how much does it cost for the night flying gear?

The blades including charger was £35 and the light string and driver was about another £30, so not cheap but hopefully once you have it then that is it.

nice one mate i did my 1st night flight not so long back (just hovering around) and it was great fun!

Excellent stuff, useful info on the cameras etc. How did you find it flying somewhere that is quite well lit, I was in our field and it was pitch black and the heli stood out really well but obviously couldn't see the trees etc!!
