thats not really gonna cut it as a tail servo mate...
its too slow at Operating Speed (4.8V no load): 0.20sec/60 degrees
thats only 0.02 seconds faster than a futaba 3001.
no point putting on a good gyro if its controlling a servo that can't keep up.

a common tail servo would be the futaba 9254 which runs at 0.06sec/60 degrees.
what gyro do you have at the moment? is it causing you problems?

the tail gyro seems to twitch a bit my servos are what come when i bought the heli i dont need any big good servos as i am only learning

you also don't need a fancy gyro........ you're just learning.

i know dont need a fancy 1 but seem to get a few nudges on tail my trainer advised getting a better 1?

Liam ... spend the extra and get a decent tail servo/gyro combo as then you wont have to worry about the tail at all then .. Nothing worse when learning than having something else to worry about

liam its a hl 400/800 by the look of it. and like i said not good enough for your raptor.

Can't skimp on tail servo and gyros on a big heli mate, just won't work well at all.
keep a look out for second hand 401's or a align GP 700 or 750 and the minimum servo you could get away with is a HS6965 hitec or get a align DS620 i thinks the fast one, don't waist your oney on other cheep gyros servos that won't work well either
