Had a great time wiv Rapt50 and The Chiller even though some knob had burnt out a car at the entrance to our field and we all had to 'bump' it out of the way.

Had a great afternoon myself - 2 batteries thorugh the blade and a lesson on the Raptor 50. When I meet up with others and see their flying, I realise how far I have to go though!!!

Yep, twas a little chilly but got some flights in on the 600 and some big gas action on my extra. Really enjoying the 600 and starting to get a feel for it.

Well, I had a fairly good day with the Knight, from 10:30 till 16:00, mostly gassing with people LOL. Picked up fish and chips for me and the Mrs on the way home as I managed to not take any lunch!

Had a little miss-hap with the Knight, lucky to not be worse, the signal cable on the gyro broke, and was make/break in the middle of a flight, managed to get it down and it took a while for Predbasher and myself to finally figure out what was wrong.

SolidG gyros have a piece of heatshrink on the lead that goes from the Amp to the gyro itself on the actual servo plug. Inside this heatshrink is where the cable had broken!

Soldering iron job this evening in the shed and it's all ready for flying again!

Just need another good day like today, I seem to be motoring through this heli fuel at the moment!

You're too kind sir. Been on Phoenix a fair bit today. Still wallowing a bit on tail-in hovers but it's getting there.

Dropped my 600n exiting an inverted auto and killing the blade speed. Not too bad, just the undercart and one main blade...
Inverted auto on the first flight of the day - didn't even practice a power on approach and flip - how stupid is that?!

I was actually thinking of selling one of my .50s. Definitely wont now!
Burned the rest of the gallon in my knight3D, 3 packs though the 500.
That 500 is making my nitros feel a bit sluggish

At our elevated altitude field it was 1.5c at its warmest, and quite windy. Very cold but I had my tx mit thing

Indoor session this morning where I flew the Furion 3 times and the Rave once (I flew the furion first and it was working well so I wanted to get a few flights on it! )

Then to the field and flew the Vision 50 again (got to sort that damn engine out!!!), the Protos some more, a bit more Furion time and finally the Aurora... I should have flown that first really but the others wouldn't get flown then!

what a fantastic day, think my 4th flight was the best flight I have ever had, it really went well, loved it, when I got home changed the bearings in my 600, which was sounding really bad, so hope to get some half decent weather today to have another sling around.
