    Isn't it amazing how many heli flyers are left handed? We lefties tend to have good spatial awareness, which is certainly needed in buckets for this hobby

        No wonder nobody flies Mode III - nobody ever suggests it to newbies...

        You sound like me when I started out - I just knew I wanted the cyclic on the left stick, and the throttle and rudder on the right stick.

        This is called Mode III, and is exactly what you are looking for - all Futaba sets can be switched to Mode III. Do it, you won't regret going with Mode 3 despite all the advice to just go for Mode 2.

        I'm mode 3 and believe I am better than I would've been had I just gone for the standard.
