The more basic your model now the better as it gives you the best possible chance of 'surviving' your first crash.

We see so many people who join the forum and exhibit the same enthusiasm yet never get beyond the first mishap.

Keep things simple at this stage and it'll pay dividends in the future and keep your repair bills to a minimum. The temptation to upgrade and update your model is strong but the sad fact is that even at my stage in learning it doesn't prevent your thumbs doing the wrong things and just gives you more to worry about.

For just these reasons I decided not to pay out a larger sum of money on the Trex 450 and get a Blade 400 instead. Top stuff.
