Im about to go radio rental if i dont get this sorted,

Some of you might have read yesterdays post about my Ccpm problems,

Well, ive just bought a Futaba 2.4Ghz reciever ( at great expense ) to go with my Futaba transmitter. Can I get them to link? can I B#####s.

Ive got the plugs in the right sockets, everything is set to 0 as per the vids from other day.

I turn on the transmitter and the light on the reciever blinks green Its recieving but not bonding ) I press the tiddgy little button on the reciever, the light goes red, release the button and it flashes green again. The Gyro wont fix either now so thats flashing blue !!!

well ive got a lovely little heli that flashes green and blue lights at me, Noice

the only thing i can think of is the switch positions. I cant find any blurb on were to stick these.

Switch
1, A; trainer H; idle up
2 ch 5 A Gear H; gyro
3 Ail/Elev rud --DR
3 ch 6 flaps..th hold

Transmitter is Futaba T6EX
Reciever is Futaba R 617 FS

I could be wrong but doesnt the t6ex only work with the 606fs receiver

Not sure on yours but on my DX7 no probs just plug in binding key power receiver then hold tx binding button in then switch on tx & wait for binding to set, solid light on receiver sets so I assume yours maybe done same way.

I would be interested if this is the case. the chap in the shop said it would work no problem as they are both Futaba !!!!!!!

I must admit that I did think that the 7 channel RX would not work with th 6 channel TX but the FASST site says it does !!!!!

are you holding the link button down for more than 1 second....

All the other features on the TX that you mention are irrelevant for binding....

Yep, Ive tried 1 second and 1 second plus.

So its transmitter on, power on to the reciever etc, then press the button. This is what its says in the book.
Tourejim seems do his a bit differant, ive tried that too !!!

Might have sussed it, Chap at the model shop says that because its got ESC it will need a seperate power source just to bond. Once bonded it will be Ok.. we shall see

The ESC battery should definately bind you mate, it shouldnt matter.

Ive just tried it Lee with a differnat powere source.... sod all.... begining to look like its k-nackered. going back to the shop for an exchange me thinks.

Before you do that, check Futabas website as I recall some Rxs not working with certain Txs.

Edit - R607FS & R617FS listed as compatible, wonder if that is a mistake? The gumph on the T6EX only shows the 607 as the receiver?

i bind with the rx on first then switch on the tx with the bind button on the back of the spectrum TX module until orange lights go steady

although this is a spectrum module system in an FF9 transmitter...dont know if theres any difference

Ive emailed Futaba to get a defo ye or nay if the two are compatible.

It can only be one of two things now as ive tried every combo to try and get it going,

Its either kaput or they are not compatable. taking back to the shop on Sat for they guys to have a look.
