Lipo Voltage failure?

Help,


I have a flightpower battrey which afetr only 2 mins or so flight time start to wag the tail like Low Voltage cutt off. I sent it back to the shop and they have tested it and said it is fine??

it charges up ok, but just not perform wehn I try it. Cant be the charger as it is a new Cellpro 10s. Could my ESC be at fault?

as per a number of threads recently - was the lipo very cold?
Get it nice and warm in your pocket and try it again and it might be OK.

I once camped overnight, and took my heli out of the cold car and flew it at dawn. Or tried to fly i as it cold barely take off. Warmed the freezing pack up and it flew like normal.
(note: getting fully charged lipos cold (below 10deg C) can damage them).

interesting. Thing is though, if your lipos are already charged then the weather gets cold (flew in -3 the other day) what are you suppossed to do - discharge them a bit first??

Keep them warm till you fly them. I have a maplins foam filled aluminum case, which keeps the cold off them. Some put them in their pockets.
