You be far better off with a blade CX2 or MCX mind but yeh it would do ya if you aint got much money to spend. The spares wont be as readily available as the Blade stuff though.

Dan do me a favour (and your parents) stop searching for tat on ebay!! if you send me a postal order for 20 quid ill send you my cx2 it has a long ranger body(repaired tail boom) and the standard one. plus a charger 1 extra battery and some spare blades,a motor, and heatsink.. it has the full aluminium head / and swash upgrades, and a few odd bits so is well worth that money.

BUT if you post 1 more link to rubbish on flea bay the price is 60quid!!! how does that sound!!

you will need an rx (6100)and your dx6 tx to fly it. pm me if your interested

Dan didn't get the king 2's off ebay. I gave him them both for nothing except a donation to Stuart I might add, and he was made well aware the condition. The King 2 is fine for learning but I get the impression Dan if it doesn't just pop up into the air and hold a steady hover it's game over and it's the helis fault. The zoom is also fine for learning. You need to persevere with the hobby mate, it's not easy and it's all too simple to get frustrated and chuck your hand in. Do yourself a favour stick with the zoom or the King and take it a hop at a time. If you break it fix it, if it doesn't hold, fix it, understand what's going on and the hobby will reward you with your persistence.

If you don't want to use the King's do as I did and advertise them for spares to someone who will get some use from them

i think the real problem here is dan just needs someone to check the heli over and make sure its flying fine and help him out a litte..

he;s got the heli's but no idea on setting them up and flying them, so if there's anyone local to him that would help him out he might stand a chance

as although all the information needed to set-up is somewhere on the interenet it can be hard to understand.

so any near him that can help? i think that would be better than even more heli's to confuse him

(however the cx2 will be much easier to fly, and bearly requires setting up! so go for it and get rid of the kings!)

                    cheers

dave i know you gave him the kings and that was a very generous gesture!! im just hoping he will stop killing his dads wallet with ebay and realise he needs to learn how to fly these things instead of posting link after link asking "what if ?" well now he has no excuse my conditions are no more links.. use what he has and learn

thank you for all the help!!! I am buying the cx2 of boggy, and even if i could learn to fly with the honey bee or the zoom hopfuly the cx2 with help me learn the basics of the controls, and should be some fun! Im waiting for a tail grip for the zoom, and im meeting someone from my club on saturday who is gonna set up the honey bee king for me. Also i have learn a lesson, because when i was trying to set up my honey bee in the room, i pluged in the lipo and the blades spun and hit my fingers... It hurt my thumb, but no damage to me or the heli. There was a switch up or something, but the throtal was right down!

well done dan you have made a good choice there and taken some good advice obviously you will still need to set up the cx2 with the rx/tx but ron has made you a very good offer ,dont fly it in any wind ,being a coax it will fly differently to the hb and zoom much easier you'll soon lean to keep it away from furniture and walls and they dont cellings either good luck with it.

Ron surperb gesture with the cx2 mate, must and admit getting fed up with the links to flea bay,

Dan paitence is a virtual with this hobby it just doesnt happen over night im afraid, little hops become bigger hops and then bigger hops become steady hovers but you have to be paitent im afraid and learn from mistakes rebuild and go again.
