We've been out flying today as well. A cold day but no wind so flew my trex 250 for the first time. The G5 made an appearance too.

I fly my T500 with a flat lined Throttle of 88% and she's rock solid, the Trex 500's don't like slow head speeds, and I had the very same problem as you until I idle upped the Throttle too FL 88%

I had my indoor session this morning 10 til 12 ish and flew the Outrage G5 - lovin' that heli. Also flew the Protos and the Rave (new dampers fitted and right back on top form again).
Went to the field but the wind had picked up to a good 15mph and with the windchill, decided against it - it was seriously cold!!
Ended up at Midlands indoor session in Coventry this evening and flew the G5, the Rave, the Thunder Tiger Innovator and the Furion, which is rocking again too!

So no outdoor flying for me, but still a good chunk of stick time, which was superb!
Forecast rain and gales here tomorrow though
                          We'll see...
                          Cheers,

not me it was ****ing down with 30mph winds , gust up to 50.
a real full size heli would have trouble holding course in that
