Twister CP Gold motor - quick shout to Elite Models
The motor fits straight in. Looking at the photo of the ESC, you will probably have to change the connector on the CP Gold battery for a Deans type, (I'm actually using a 15 Amp GWS ESC with the Esky motor) also, you'll have to solder the connector for the low battery warning LED to the ESC power leads.
I have sent you a PM regarding your transmitter problem.
I'm using the E-sky brushless motor/ESC combo too (EK5 0081).
Big improvement over the original brushed motor. Smoother, more powerful and slightly longer flights.
As said already, it fits straight in.
I would reccomend a little threadlock on the motor screws to stop them becoming loose.
I bought mine from heliguy and they bundle a 10T pinion gear (grub screw type) with it.
Also bought the JST-Deans adapter to avoid changing the connectors on my CP Gold LiPos.
The Low Battery Warning LED I soldered onto the JST-Deans adapter.
