  • What to ask for...

I've decided to repair and sell the Lepton on as spares might be a bit of an issue for it in the long term.

The Hirobo spares cost an arm and a leg, and although the 3DX500 spares from BlinkTrading are compatible (and very much cheaper...) I'm concerned over their long term availability as I'm not familiar with 3Dx as a company and their viability.

So, the spares were ordered on Monday and are sat on my desk at work (although I'm off sick, typical...) ready for me to do the few bits that need doing - I've decided to replace all of the shafts, spindles etc just as a matter of course as it's something I do with any 2nd hand Heli I buy.

So the questions are - do I rip all of the electrics out and keep them for another model (besides the ESC and tail servo, I'm not sure how useful the motor and cyclic servos might be in anything other than another Lepton as they're pretty specific) or flog it as is?

Either way, it's far from a basic model but I really don't know what would be a fair price to ask for it, so over to you guys...

Tot it all up for new price, then go 50%.

    Sensible asking price.

    Then negotiate as required.

Righty, just chucked it up on BMFA Classifieds at about £50 less than half new price to see if it gets any interest.
