  • Too good to be true?

I'm guessing that a belt cp carbon for £130 delivered is a scam? Is anyone aware of such scams?

    ebay click

I'm not really ready for one at the moment, but part of me says "give it a go, you're protected with PayPal?".

nope thats how much they go for now especially in HK etc
I wouldnt however go for that one simply as they have no feedback. I have definately seen them that cheap before and know people who have purchased them. Out of all the itmes he has for sale theres only 1 bid.

    Cheers

Seems really cheap - it is a reasonable heli? I quite like the look of them. Maybe when I master my FP!!

For that money its okay yeh... me personally id rather put the cash towards one of the better helis. I did help Mattydred set his up when he came up here to visit. I tried allsorts but just couldnt get the slop out of the head. There was slop in the swash and washout which there wasnt anything we could do about it. They however fly well enough to learn the basics and you can get some inverted hovering out of it etc but just dont expect it to be as accurate as the others.

Thanks, I must admit I thought it was a scam, as I have to confess to bidding up to £115 for a used on on eBay before I got my 4G1B (I'm glad I didn't win it, as I would have crashed it like I did my FP, but would have done more damagE!).

I'm nearly hovering (ish) now, so I think I might go for one of the Belt CP's next...

Why dont ya just save the extra pounds up and go for the blade 400 RTF with the DX6i and everything? The problem with the Belt CP that you were looking at is its gonna be prone to glitches. If ya do go that route and order from China then make sure you get the 35Mhz version sent.

I take your point, but it 4x the cost. At the moment I'm just getting into and so don't want to spend huge ammounts, although I agree that "you get what you pay for".

Why the 35Mhz version? What are the other versions, and why would I need to watch out for them. Thanks for the advice again.

Sorry, I mis-read your post and thought they were £400. They're actually only £270 or so. I'll bear that in mind when I do decide to move up to CP. Thanks.
