How to do it - with pictures!
Josh showed me how its done. I'm aware that for many on the forum, this is a bit simple(!) but I thought it was worth taking a couple of pics as flying a heli with the ratchet is more difficult and many beginners might be nervous about taking their transmitter apart. This mod works for most transmitters with ratchets - Josh did his CP Gold, Twister Coastguard and my Blade CX2 last night (while I was zzzzing on the sofa!!)
Just take 4 screws out iof the back of the TX and twist the metal bit over to the right. Putting the ratchet back is simply a case of twisting the metal bit back! The first pic shows with the ratchet and the second without...
Don't blame us if you break something though!!!

It could be worth you checking the box your tranny came in, as when I changed the ratchet over, I 'accidentally' found the smooth metal heli plate in the box! Offers a bit of resistance to the stick movements I think?
