  • Belt CP First Flips! (With Videos)

    Hey All,

Well, after showing you my first ever flight/Hover and having 7 Flights i had a real urge to take it to the next level and whiz it up in the air and do some flips!

The First Video Went Well the Second One went even better as you can see at 30 seconds in i hoverd it inverted for a couple of seconds, then i lost my oritentation and it came down, but i recoverd it!

Edit: the Wind was quite strong, but that didnt stop me!

    Video One:

    Video Two:

    [ame]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=EOoo3tO-zAU[/ame]

Quality is better then the last vidoes

Oh yeah, my face at the end of video speaks words! lol though i look well scary, not what i usually look like! haha

    Tell Me what you Think!

Oh Yeah, Its a sight to see flips being done with training gear on aint it? hahaha

Time to lose the training gear me thinks ... Little question for you Callum , Can u fly circuits ???? Personally I would go the long way round learning helis or you will get stuck in a rut with just banging the sticks .. Nothing up with what your doing as its down to each person how they wanna progress .. Just my opinion nothing more so dont take offence from it

I seen a few people that have gone from hovering to do flips and they cant fly a nice smooth circuit ort do nose in hovering ... Heck at the end of the day its your time and your money to do as you will ... I would like to see people progresss in this hobby the right way thats all .. Guess cos i a little older i tend to do stuff the long way round ... hovering tail in .. then both sides ... then nose in ... then circuits .. then loops ... then rolls .. then inverted hovering .. all orientations .. then inverted circuits .... then backards circuits .. then 3D if you wish ....

sure is as soon as you get over the hops and jumps and can get a steady hover the tricky bit is poping it off the ground ,i was very nervious at first but it didn't take long to realise how much better its flies without them

hi callum i dont belong to any club but do fly with two other like minded heli freaks i must say when i started this hobby more years than i care to remember and also money than the wife would like to know . i had some one with more experiance come up to meand said some words that have served me well he told me one day a helicopter will come nose in or side ways at you if you can not control in all attiudes then you will get hurt or worse you will injure youre friends we all aspire to the top3 d pilots they all started somestage futher down the learning curve above all remember safety is every thing you certainley doing very well at flying but please just take it a little slower on the learning and try to maintain presision youre eyesight is for life not just xmas keep the shiney side up and dirty side down good luck Barry S.

I totally with what every one has said / commented on about the learning curve and using a more slower approach is the best way to go.....i dare say most would find it a bind more than difficult to fly about with the training gear on...lol.

Yeah i think we would rather see you fly it around tail-in with no training gear on than watching you having to save flips and rolls which the training gear will only make worse through more weight and wrongly places cofg.

I think you may get on okay, probly the flips/rolls will help with ur confidence, I certainly haven't had the b@lls to try them yet. I tried a wee bit of FF on my last flight but was fighting a gusty wind like that all the time. I don't honestly know how you managed it as yours is the same size heli.
