Was a great day and well done to Ron and Pete.
I am still freezing, i don't do cold.
Managed 2 and a bit flights, 3rd one i gave up a min in as the 700 was sick, paddles were loose and it was all over the place. and the engine was running lean and lean again, my helis don't like the cold either.
Second flight of the day seemed to go well, seemed to catch a time where there was very little wind and i managed my first couple of piro flips
A big thanks must go to Richie Clark for coming down and doing my A test for me, even though we were both frozen, my fingers expecially, and it was quite blowy we got through it and i passed so thanks mate.

Well done dude, it wasn't easy weather to keep a steady flight, esp with no feeling in your fingers, but well done

Well done James. It won't be long before you've got your
"B" and then entering comps too

I would have liked to fly but glad I made it down for a bit and seen what a fantastic effort Boggy, TREX Pedro and Eddie had made (I'm sure there is someone I've forgotten).

Pity it was sooooo bloody cold.... brrrrrr

                Cheers guys

I had enough problems with my own paddles today, things kept coming loose on the 700, won't anymore, they are epoxied in place now thanks Mike for the tip.
Forgot to say earlier, nice flying from adie and stu, how you guys can do that in this sort of weather is unreal

Had a great time today, putting faces to names, watching the days flying. Special thanks to Pete and Ron for the Tx advise and eddie for the warming food. The flying was second to none and a joy to watch. The day was worth the frost bite in the extremities.
                      THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

                                DMHC Fly-in

Just wanted to say "thank you" to all that was involved with the fly-in today.
Although it was rather cold, it was great to get down the field.
See you all in the new year,
                                Mike.
