Phoenix section today???

must admit, everything went very smorrthly ipgrading from 1.05j to 2.00q One minor lockup and a few "not responding"'s but left it alone and it pretty much sorted itself out. Just one reboot to force something through. Be prepared, it took a while on my 2meg connection.

No issues with calibration, other than it took two goes. Seems fairly stable although multiplayer can be a bit jerky/laggy.

strange thing is i can start phoenix in 1.05j from my desktop still after the upgrade that works fine but if i open it within its folder using the exe file it starts in 2.00q its only after everything is calibrated then it stops.

sounds to me like you maybe selected the wrong folder when it asked you at the start of the upgrade process? Is that possible in your config? I tend to stick to default installation paths for this very reason....

plonker,idiot,dipstick and words like that come to mind when you do somthing silly like me ,i forgot that i had phoenix installed on two hard drives so i still have both versions and the one on the desktop is 1.05j and the other is 2.00q that still wont work so what i will do is reinstall it starting from scratch still keeping the older version just incase the new one dont work

yeah, it might be that certain common or shared files are now all over the place...

Has anyone else having the problems, that they need to callibrate their TX every 3-5 minutes.

After I re-callibrate, the heli hovers spot on but then after 5 mins the heli either becomes really nose/tail heavy.

I am constantly calibrating, which is getting very annoying.

Any suggestions appreciated

Yeah i must admit that after i've finished and then gone back to have another play the cyclic settings do seem to be out or i need so much trim that the trim is waaaaaaay over from centre to one side............but what i have noticed is if after you hav trimmed it out and have flown it around for a while and land it , you have to trim it back the other way and only a few clicks off of centre trim then...lol its like havin just fit new rubbers in the head and they then settle in so need adjusting

Yup.. Thats sounds just like what i am having. I wouldnt mind it if it was every time i opened Phoenix, but every 5 minutes i getting a joke. It can even happen mid-flight.

just set up 2.00n not very happy with it every thing feels sloppy .the helis i tried didnt have enough guts to get off the ground after playing around with the settings for the 450se it flys but is verry twitchy .

I have the problem, and i know a couple of other people do. Worth a quick look i suppose.

Lol what makes me laugh is that i also get tail clitches/twitches like you do in "real life" when flying on 35meg or when the tail drive / head speed lets go or alters respectively.

i just set up phoenix 2.00n again as a new model on the tx calibrated and everything seems ok but now my throttle hold switch does nothing any suggestions please
