  • coaxial tail drift?

    i have a 4ch apache.
it was flying perfect, i recharged battery and went for another flight and now it spins on axis in one direction.
it has the two sets of blades, and even with the trim hard right it still has a gentle spin.
there is no screw to adjust power balance to the motors on the heli mixer.
there is no damage i can see to the machine.
any one know what the cause might be?
    michael.

what make is it?? the cause is one set of blades not spinning fast enough. if as you say there is no pot on the 4 in 1 for adjustment you may have a problem stopping it

      Hi Michael

Just like boggy says. It's possibly got a weak motor or a damaged blade. What make is it?

it is ferral beast apache gunship.
        it is brand new.
the fault seems to have occurred between flights when i stopped for a recharge.
could a motor be suffering so soon?
can i get a mixer with an adjustment screw built in it for it?

I have heard of another of these with the same fault. There is no easy way to fit a trimmer I'm afraid. If it's brand new I would contact the shop where you bought it to get a replacement, sorry I can't help more. Good luck

if its new i would send it back. i know this sounds brutal but there are much better starter heli's for not much more money!
has the 4 in 1 got a make and model no' sticker??

well, i left it at work as there is excellent indoor flying space there, so i cant get specs off it.
what is a good starter chopper?
i thought that my next one would be the falcon blackguard as you can get paint ball ammo for the bb guns strapped both sides of it... );o)
