  • Welcome to the Real world Dave

Nobody told me your heli doesn't fly the same at the field as in Phoenix! There I am getting a bit cocky backward circuits, stall turns etc when I come over all tick tock (something I can do on the sim even whilst holding a cup of tea, not really) Jesus christ I wasn't expecting that. It's all very civilised on the sim I thought as I watched my beloved 3D lose height soemwhat rapidly, quickly got some negative in and pushed forward and then had another go just to make sure before packing up in disgust and rapidly composing in my head a letter of complaint to Compass Models.

Seriously, is there anything you can do to make the models fly more like the real thing or does anyone with more idea than me have settings that they use with Phoenix. My knotted balloon would be eternally grateful

Cheers for the help with my first tentative steps towards an Auto Dave

Try checking the physical settings on the sim for your model. The ones I usually adjust are weight and blade size. Also try the stability settings I think they are called, the ones with the slider to vary them.

I think the weight should be the first point of call, if I remember correctly the Honey Bee King was down as 1kg on the sim, but actually 600-700g in real life, so might make a difference for you.

      Hope this helps

Ok put the stability to 50% and work down to 0% and see how you get on lol.
