  • Bind plug/male charge jack

Hi All, Bought a AR6200 receiver this week went to bind today and the instructions tell you to fit the bind plug to the charge jack only the charge jack is male i now theres going to be a simple answer to this but a bit of direction would be gratefully received.I purchased my Dx6i second hand with a trex 450 and would now like to use it with my X-cell aswell so i haven't done the bind process before as it was already bound to the AR6100E on the trex.

Stick the bind plug into the bind/batt port. Then just attach a 4.8 volt RX pack to any other channel on the RX. You dont need a switch to bind it just connect the pack direct to the RX.

I think you may be getting confused.
You do not connect the bind plug to the Tx charge jack (which is what I deduced, rightly or wrongly, from your post).
You connect the bind plug to the receiver batt connector.
You then need to supply the RX with a 4.8V or 5V source to any of the other connectors (that is ael, rudd, Aux1 etc).
The rx lights should be flashing furiously while the bind plug and RX pack are connected.
At this time you turn on your TX whilst holding the bind button on the tx.
The RX should stop flashing and eventually the light/s should stay on solid.
The Rx is now bound to the TX.
Turn off the Rx and remove the bind plug.
        Turn off the Tx.
Now turn on the Tx and apply power to the Rx.
The lights on the Rx should stay on solid.
        Your done.

Adrain i think he was talking about the charge socket on a switch harness (like the way they have it connected on the diagram in the manual).

          Cheers
